About the Event
I am offering you to come join me in a death//rebirth ceremony on my dock here in Alameda on Saturday morning. Originally I wanted to do it in the dark Friday night, but the tide is too low and it will be too chilly I think. So let’s do it Saturday morning at 10 am. Come from 9.30 if you’d like to create a little altar with me, to honor the Day of the Dead. Bring pics or totems of loved ones who have passed, flowers, poems or letters you’d like to energetically offer on this day. We will gather in a circle to remember in silence, before lying down for a soundbath where we invite our being to ‘die’ to this moment and to let go of anything not serving!
the rebirth will happen by itself!
bring a yoga mat, blankets and layers as it might get chilly once you lie down for soundbath! an eye mask is also a great idea! and a water bottle.
PRACTICAL: When you come to my house, follow the instructions what door to enter! it is that brown-red door to the right, when you look at the house from the road. The door in between the houses, is the portal that will lead you onto the path to the dock! Be aware there are some ladders (landlord stuff) in that middle section on the path, so make sure to be present on your walk please!
ALSO! All attendance is by own risk! Just saying, as we are staying by the estuary (real ocean water) and there is a little ramp to walk down etc. You can also sit upstairs on the upper patio to listen, if more ease for you! There will be chairs available up there.
I'm excited for this! Bring friends and family (no kids under 7 years please!)
love Josa
