Connecting our hearts to the hearth

~ a journey with the Kontomblé

In this eighth Sisterhood ReTreat we will reach beyond the veil, into the earthly realms where the wee ones live. 

That is, the little people, the fae, and the nature spirits.

Regarded across the world, in many different cultures, by many different names- these loving, wise beings are known as the original stewards of the earth, and tenders to the natural realms that grow and yearn to thrive upon her. They are known as the bringers of culture, and have brought their healing ways and natural medicines to the healers and medicine people at the heart of many villages over the ages.

In this retreat, we will be hearing from the Little people of the Dagara tribe in Burkina Faso, known as the Kontomblé, through Voice Diviner Aislinn Kerchaert. We will begin by setting our ceremonial space, with the intention to open our hearts for receiving their messages.

When Aislinn asked the Kontomblé to share a little bit about their intention for this Sisterhood retreat, they told her it was about the purity of the heart, and how when we truly enter into the space of our hearts, we enter into a new way of experiencing time. They said “The time of the heart, is the time of the earth. The trine (as in trinity) of the heart, is the heart, the hearth, and the earth.”

There is a  limitless potential made available to us when we access our heart space within a group ceremony. 

Together, we will explore this potential, while receiving stories and teachings from Aislinn on the importance of tending our ancestral hearth. It is through activating and stepping into our own unique ancestral medicines, that we can begin to heal our relationship with mother earth, while also healing our relationships to ourselves. In the opening part of our ceremony, there will be space to hear from the community and for participants to share what has been on their hearts.

In the second chapter of our ceremony, we will move into the divination space. Traditionally one does not see the Voice Diviner while they bring through the voices of the little people. So Aislinn will turn off her video, and begin the divination. After bringing through their messages, the Kontomblé will receive up to three questions from the group.

The Kontomblé often like to share in rhymes, their unique medicine comes through like poetry when translated in English. 

Their Mother tongue is also a highly activating language, which can bring healing and transformation to the body, mind and spirit.

Our special guest of this workshop Aislinn Kerchaert , is a Kontomblé Voice diviner, Reiki Master and Intuitive Healer.

Her journey began as a writer and a performer, with a performing arts training at a cutting edge theatre school in Chicago. Here she experienced deep transformation through a series of near death experiences and profound work with the body and voice, that opened her connection to spirit and reignited her process of remembering. At this time, her devotion to the Goddess and the Divine Mother, along with her commitment to conscious evolution on the planet, was sparked.

As a tarot reader, and poet, Aislinn always felt the presence of the Little People and Spirits of Nature weave their message through her. This drew Aislinn to attend an Immersion training and Initiation with Elder Malidome Patrice Some, who was the first to bring the teachings of this lineage to the West. She feels a deep connection to these beings of the earth and stars, who through sparkling synchronicities, energetic communion and dreamwork continue to cultivate her path as healer and diviner.

Aislinn now resides in Chinook and Clatsop land, on the Oregon coast. She hopes to bring a sense of belonging and purpose into the lives of others by empowering their true abilities. This includes embracing innate awarenesses that have been left unregarded in the past, through the mending of the heart, ancestral healing, and the divinatory arts. She dreams and envisions cultivating a future full of joy, creative possibility and restored communion with the earth, for the generations to come.

Aislinn will be joined by Spirit Tracker and Healer, Amanda Woodward, who will be supporting us as a space holder and trusted guardian of the energetic space during the Kontomblé Divination. Amanda works closely with many beings who bridge worlds, including the Blue Beings (relatives from the Stars) and the Saabe (also known as the Sasquatch). The Blue Beings, Saabe, and the Kontomblé have a beautiful history of interconnection and coming together to support one another in their work to serve Mother Earth.

Our global connection gives us inspiration for endless possibilities on learning how to step deeper into caring for ourselves, as we are all mirrors for one another.

• The schedule of the day starts with Jósa welcoming everyone in with an opening ceremony and a little warm-up dance for our bodies.
• Aislinn will take over with a workshop on The Sweet Dew of the Earth: Connecting our hearts to the hearth.
• We will enter into a ceremonial space through a grounding meditation, opening the circle to share messages regarding heart medicine, ancestral healing and communion with the earth. This will be followed by a Group Kontomblé Divination where we will hear from the Little People.
• When the Kontomblé come through, they speak in their mother tongue, a language which is born of their cosmic origin. You will hear them speak in their language through Aislinn’s voice, and then hear her translate this into English. These divinations often include  messages from the Little People concerning one’s life purpose, ancestral healing, suggested ritual prescriptions, activations and clearings, and songs from the Kontomblé.
• You will leave having received the seeds of their messages, planted in your heart! What beautiful dreams may grow from such seeds? It can be a very activating experience to hear from the Kontomblé, so we recommend making sure you have plenty of time to rest and integrate after the ceremony.
• To close the circle, Jósa will open up the Akashic Records for our group and channel messages and guidance, according to questions and wishes for the collective.

We will make sure to take time in between sessions for bathroom // water breaks.

All sessions will be recorded and sent out in the following days, so you can re-listen or watch and participate when it suits you.
